Cyberbullying Conference in English with Prof. Dr. Georges Steffgen, University of Luxembourg
Cyberbullying is an aggressive, intentional act carried out repeatedly over time by a group or individual using electronic forms of contact against a victim. Children and youngsters have to deal more and more with cyberbullying.
Among others, Prof. Dr. Steffgen will give us information about:
- What is cyberbullying, exactly?
- How does it work?
- Consequences of cyberbullying
- Why do people cyberbully?
- Prevention and what parents need to know
- What can I do as a victim, as a friend, as a parent? How to take action?
During this event, KJT will launch a cartoon post-card series. Each month we will publish one cartoon card presenting one of the topics of the children contacting our online help. The cartoon of the first postcard of the series is about cyberbullying.
